Nutrition Info & Sources
MealTrack.me uses AI models and general nutrition references to estimate calories, macros, and feedback from the meal descriptions and photos you share. These values are approximate and may not match the exact nutritional content of your meals.
How estimates are produced
- An OpenAI-powered model reviews your meal description and any photo you upload to estimate calories, macronutrients, and selected micronutrients.
- Targets shown during calibration and on your dashboard apply standard nutrition formulas using the details you provide (age, height, weight, activity level, and goals) plus general population reference ranges.
- Coach Blu summaries are written by AI to highlight patterns in your logged meals and offer educational reminders based on those estimates.
